Olympia's response to Sea Level Rise 

In 2007, the City of Olympia initiated a technical assessment of potential sea rise, high tide, and storm event interactions for its flood-prone downtown. Detailed knowledge of the downtown's land elevations and pipe systems were used in computer simulations of various flood scenarios. The results provide a good understanding of how sea rise may progressively affect the Olympia's downtown.
