Accommodations Water Resources in a Changing Climate:
Hydrologic Scenario Development for Long-range Planning

The following information will help you select accommodations for the workshop. Reservations should be made directly with the hotel of choice.

All of the hotels listed below are within a 5-10 minute drive to the Center for Urban Horticulture. Most hotels have a continental breakfast and free shuttle service to the Center.

Shuttle service to and from Seattle's SeaTac Airport can be arranged directly or through the hotel. Please contact your hotel for questions on airport shuttle options and costs (note: two options are Shuttle Express and West Coast Express (206-242-1200)).

We have a block of rooms reserved at a rate of $94 US (+ tax) at the Silver Cloud Inn University District (1-800-205-6940 or 206-526-5200). You must specify that you are attending the "Water resources and climate meeting" to receive the discounted rate. Please make reservations at the Silver Cloud by March 31, 2003 to ensure that you get the block rate. Reservations made after March 31st will be available at the block rate only if rooms are available.

A notice about room availability.. Several hotels have advised us that there is a large boating event near the University on Saturday, May 3, that will attract many out of town guests. Although there is plenty of room available in most hotels around the University at this time, we recommend that you make your reservations early to ensure you choice of location and price.
