Overview
Rhythms of Change: Climate Impacts on the Pacific Northwest, the Climate Impacts Group’s (CIG) book-length manuscript currently under review at MIT Press, represents the culmination of the research and synthesis performed in CIG’s first five years. This work aims to inform those regional managers, decision makers, and citizens seeking to understand the ways in which the natural resources and the human socioeconomic systems the Pacific Northwest (PNW) are affected by and could better cope with the region’s climate, both the climate of today and that of tomorrow. By describing the strategies, methods and experiences of CIG, Rhythms of Change is also intended to offer a guide for performing regional climate impacts assessments.
