• The IRI/LDEO (International Research Institute for Climate Prediction / Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory) data library contains a broad selection of climate data sets.

• National Climatic Data Center: daily values of 16 variables for surface stations throughout the United States. There are three groupings in the daily data section, and you want the third group, "Data Files." Click on "- U.S. High Resolution--Select by Station (Cooperative, NWS)", and with a lot of patience you will be able to obtain the data.
